Welcome to a blog about politics and knowledge. Join me in pondering how knowledge is produced and what political purposes it may serve.

Knowledge about
international relations in Russia

Horizon 2020-funded individual research project

The project enquires into the relation between academic knowledge and foreign policy. It aims to understand the relation between the study of international relations in Russia and Russia’s policymaking. In order to analyse the academia-policy interface, I resort to the sociology of knowledge. I pay particular attention to the context of academic knowledge production and scholars' views on their potential policy impact.
The 3 year-long project is executed at Aberystwyth University and St. Petersburg State University. This project has received funding from the European Union’s Horizon 2020 research and innovation programme under grant agreement No 705989.
